Woo hoo. Finally some blog action. I check this every so often hoping to read some exciting, funny, or scadalous tid bits, but alas, no such luck until now. Michelle and CT, it was great to hear you are both still alive and well. As for me, I am just kicking back in Calgary with not too much to do... I really shouldn't be posting right now because I have absolutely nothing exciting to say! haha Work is amasing- I get free clothes as gifts from designers and I get to deal with companies in Italy, Paris, Holland, and Germany... yep, can't complain. Plus, I am working independantly as a jewelry distributor for Instyle Now, so with some luck I will be making some big bucks soon! Other than that, my life is pretty boring so I guess I'll be wrapping this post up soon. Carolyn, I really wish you lived here- I need someone to hit the town with! Amanda, when are you coming to see me again? I miss you! Oh, Michelle- every time I watch The Bachelor I can't help thinking about how much you look like Moana!! Has anyone else noticed this? Oh, and words about American Idol- I think Ace is one beautiful, sexy man... Well, that's it for me... Hope to see more blogging action from you all to get some updates on everyone's lives.

All right, first off I must apologize to Michelle for the fact that I totally dissed her on MSN twice. Can't be helped, my parents were here helping me hang pics in my apt. I finally got a couple of posters at Micheals and have them up now. So I know I haven't been around to talk to much but as you can imagine this has been my absolutely insanse season. Last weekend I spent at home in forever and even then I was still at the rink Saturday and Sunday but I got to sleep in my own bed at least. Foxy was here for a visit last week and we got to watch some Olympics and American Idol. So last weekend Saturday night my staff had a thing at the Dublin for the who wants to be a thousandaire trivia. I headed up there around 7ish. Of course who gets called up to the stage but moi. Luckily one of the other teachers and I had been drinking Smirnoff Ice with grenadine and I had already finished my second. Thus, I was 'smart'. My questions were pretty easy to start off. I.e. which of the following is a contraceptive, jumping up and down after sex, drinking a coke after, something else, or none of the above. Got that one pretty fast. Closest to the sun, pot makes you. I won 2 beer, 2 beer glasses and a basket of wings. I lost on the who is Glass Tiger touring with question . Oh well. Most of the staff left around 11 but one other teacher and I stayed and who should arrive but Jeff and Howie. Oh my boys! Just dance then went to China Garden but still fun. This weekend I would love to go to the ECMA's but I'm heading to Ktown for a comp. Friday at 5 and should be home Sunday by 3. Just in time to coach powerskating at 4:30. Poor Ryan will have to do everything, I'll be lucky to drag myself around the ice. But in the evening I am thinking about going to Matt Mayes at Myrons I think it will be good. SO ladies that's about it for me. Yesterday we did off ice with the girls and on the way there I just had to find time to stop at Wal-mart and pick me up a little RENT! Woo hoo! I haven't had a chance to watch the whole way through yet because I'm addicted to the Olympics but I will soon. Love you all and miss you all CT

It's been awhile...
Hi ladies,
I feel bad for our poor neglected blog. I do check it, but never seem to post anything. Could be because there's not much going on that any of you would probably want to hear about. Work's going really well. I'm super busy, which I'm definitely not used to. I really like everyone I work with, and I'm in charge of a couple of projects, which is cool. I'm at work right now and since it's the end of a very busy day, I thought I'd take a little break and say hello.
What news can I share with you? The Lynds was here to visit on the weekend. We had a fun, but very uneventful few days. Friday night we had some drinks and played a game with Peggy, Bren and MJ. Saturday afternoon me, Lynds, Bren, MJ, Pegs, Hugh and MJ's bro Matt all went bowling. We split up the guys and the girls and had a great time. Afterwards, the foursome from my house went to the Works for burgers for dinner and Lynds and I headed out on the town to the Honest Lawyer. By the time we got down there and got in, we were only there for a bit over an hour, but it was fun. Lots of people watching. Sunday we didn't leave the house and just watched a bunch of movies, made brownies and watched Grey's Anatomy and Lynds went home yesterday.
After almost 4 weeks working at the hospital, I finally ran into Angus. I figured I was bound to sooner or later. CHEO is connected to the med school and the other hospital. I've seen a lot of med students over here in the last few days, so I figured he was around somewhere. I saw him today after lunch on my way out of the cafeteria. had a nice little chat. He's looking pretty good. Apparently we're going to have lunch when he finishes this block of classes. I'm looking forward to it, but I'm not holding my breath. He's bailed on me many times before. While I was telling one of my co-workers about him, I had a memory pop into my head of one of the dress-up nights at the Barn...or was it Halloween...I can't even remember and I suddenly remembered I kissed him once. Amazing that something that was so monumental to me at the time totally slipped my mind.
Speaking of memories that were locked away, another one popped into my head the other day. I'm pleased to say I got a shout out on our copy-cat bog www.peiiswhere.blogspot.com I was reading an entry of John Green's the other day that mentioned me. They're back to re-living high school and telling mean stories about people. John mentioned when Nathaniel Mitchell pantsed Dean Constable in grade 10 gym class and everything came down. John remembered that I'd been there to witness the wonderful event. Thankfully I'd forgotten all about it, however the image keeps popping back into my head now. Eww.
I think that's about it for me. It's pretty long, so I hope I inspire the rest of you to post, or at least comment. I won't have any more news for awhile. I can't remember why, but Pegs can't do anything all weekend, so I'll have a hot date with my couch. Woo hoo!!!!! CT, I'm still waiting to hear about your shenannigans with your staff on the weekend. Pam and KB, haven't heard from you in a bit either. Hope you're all well. Miss you lots.
Love,
MC

Help our blog please!!
Please help! Our blog is having extreme difficulties being interesting. Either the blog is dull or we are, and girls I'm sorry but I'm going to vote for us. So you guys all need to take turns coming to visit me. Otherwise by the time anyone gets home I will have completely forgotten how to talk to people my own age. When I speak now I stop mid-way through sentences and let the person I'm talking to finish them to ensure they understand. I did this to a 13 year old yesterday and to a 15 year old today. Damn primary teacher. So tomorrow my dad turns 60, insanity huh? What else, parent teacher interviews. Just waiting for Foxy to come over so we can watch the two man luge. What an event! Hope you are all doing well and I hope you are all enjoying this winter to the fullest.
