Saturday night in Ctown

Hello ladies,
I know it's been awhile since I postedon here. I hope you're all doing great. It's Saturday night and Michelle and I are at her place getting ready to watch a dvd on her laptop. Not much new here we're taking the weekend off. We were out both Friday and Saturday night last weekend. Nothing too exciting though except me ratting out this guy for busting a light then racing tomy bro's side so he'd protect me even though he was a tad loaded.

Thing in m y classroom are going good. Our first fire drill went off without a hitch!! The kids aer amazing during an indoor recess when I walk back to the class the other teachers don't look at me with pity on their faces. Instead it's more like envy. I did learn one very important thing Thursday though. Never give children honey on a stick outside of a bee house. Thisdid cause somem nervousness. Oh well it's all with the territority.

Don't cry for me...

I went to see the musical Evita last night! Darc surprised me and took me to the show as an early birthday present. It was here for 4 nights and last night was the finale. I loved it!!! I was excited to hear that it was coming but had decided I couldn't afford to go. I've been pretty busy since arriving back in Montreal. Matthew stayed with us for the first week we were back. We had a lot of fun and ate a lot of ice cream. (Did anyone see Wedding Crashers??? It's so funny!) Last Monday to Wednesday Jane and I were busy with orientation activities for the new class and then Thursday it was back to classes. I had a relaxing long weekend. I finally finished my trip/beach read Monkey Business which turned out to be really good. I also finished The Guardian. Tonight I've been looking after Chloe who must've eaten something on our walk that made her sick. I think I could write a book on how a puppy can help you meet people. Since I've been here I've talked to so many people that normally would just walk by. I've met so many people even in my own building...even a few cute guys. ;) She can also weed out the people that you wouldn't want as a friend. Some people have given me a dirty look when she's looked at them. I told Matt to buy a puppy so he can meet a lady but I think I'll keep my mouth shut about that or else I'll have two puppies to look after. Poor little Lily had to have an operation to remove her tail a week ago because they discovered she had cancer. I think it was caught in time and may not have spread but Christopher and Angela are still waiting to hear for sure. How's Sasha, Carolyn? I'm excited to hear about your job Michelle. Do you start tomorrow? Any news with anyone?
Love, Lynds

doesn't look like me

So I got my photos back from the shoot yesterday...... hahahahaha It is actually funny to see myself pose. I suppose that they look ok, but they just don't really look like me. I don't want to post them on My Space as I don't want everyone to see them so I will figure out a way to show you gals.
My cousins friend from Ont is staying with me for abit (he is a boy) and having fun showing him around. It is too bad I am "anti wanting anything to do with guys" at the moment as he is cute but ah well my Mojo will come back soon I am sure.
Hope everyone has a good weekend. I am going to The Lotus on Sat with the flatmates. I am sure to have stories apres that!
Love yas!

Another drunk night for MC... I think

Hello ladies,
Well it may not have been MC that was drunk. I decided to drink Smirnoff Twist last night. I will never ever do that again. Michelle and I drank alone at my place and headed out. Once there I bought a beer. I must say I was feeling a little giddy. In fact I was downright hilarious if I do say so myself. We met up with Rebecca and Rachel and danced a little and had some fun. To make a long story short I woke up at 7:30 am lying on my bed fully clothed with no blankets what so ever. I looked beside me and found my blankets on the floor and underneath them was a chicken. With only his feathers on if you get my drift. I know ladies this code is hard to crack. Very little memory except getting very sick in the bathroom but I don't remember getting to the bed. That's about it for me. It was interesting to say the least.
PS Never drinking again ever!!

I am alive

I know I have been totally lacking in Blogstories but I am back and have some for yas!
I haven't even read the blog in awhile so I am sorry about not being in with the "know"....
CT I am glad that Sasha is feeling better. That must have been so scary!
Europe sounds even more amazing now, I can't wait to go!!! Due to get there next May.....
Working alot!!! Flirting still ongoing with Jonny (guy from work). Not much has happened other than a few kisses and cuddling, which suprises me, however I am sure it is because we work together and also after thinking I found the love of my life then having my heart ripped out and thrown in the trash compactor I am scared!
Jack Johnson was AMAZING, STELLAR, UNBELIEVEABLE. WOW! That is all I can say. A tear came to my eye when he started singing Rodeo Clowns (fav song), and Taylor as that is the song Bobby (surf dude from Cali) played on his guitar for us that night in Newcastle............
This might come to a shock to everyone but I had a professional photoshoot done yesterday!
I know I was quite taken aback when this man came into Martinis a couple weeks ago and wanted to do headshots of me (for free), and wanted nothing in return. Everyone told me to be careful and I was. It was during the day (early evening) and I made sure that this guy was legit before going. It was so weird at first just standing there smiling and posing while lights and a camera is on you. After about 10 min I felt pretty comfortable and didn't think anything of it. Apparently (according to the photographer and his assistant) I am a natural..... whatever they probally say that to everyone. I get a CD of the photos and then get to decide weither or not I want to release them on a portfolio....... what the hell! I have no clue what to think or do. hahaha I think it is funny. I always did want to be in a Noxeema commercial..........

Lots of Love and thinking about all the fun you are having on PEI with Mo and everyone, I will be homw at Christmas.... Dec 23rd until the 30th!

Girls...

Girls we need to get our shit together!! The summer is supposed to be the time for intersting stories and good times. And by the looks of our blog we had more going on in March! I am guessing it's because for the most part we are all together and see each other every day so there's no need. Michelle arrives home this evening and I think we're all going to hit the races. Pamela there is a new ride there called the F reak out and it looks like so much fun. Lori and I had my bro convinced to go on it last night but we got out there and line up was way too long. That's basically all I got for now, going to go out to my class room for a little while today I think so I'll have the rest of hte week free to do whatever.

...And his name was Ben...

Hello all, well do I ever have an interesting story to tell. Kendra and I went out to supper the other night to BP's which was really good, more so the evening then the food on my part but anyways, on with the story. So Kendra and I walk in, get seated and chat and chat. I see this guy and start telling all about him, that I know he goes to my gym and I think i said something one night to him when I was really drunk about him being really good looking....ok i probably said he was hot, who am i kidding. So we are laughing about this and I'm saying ok this is weird he keeps looking at us...anyways we both kinda just brush off the topic. We order a round of drinks and proceed with the evening...that is until, Mr. Gym man that I hit on decides to walk over to us and preceeds to say to me, "don't I know you?? " Me getting as red as anything looking at Kendra and her trying as hard as possible not to laugh b/c of the story I just gave her...then he contiunes, are you from fredrection??? I was like yea I went to school there yadda yadda yadda, then hes like I was the bouncer at the chestnut (a bar that I frequented a lot). So I start laughing, i was like I thought I knew you from the gym, he totally brushed that off...and we introdcued ourselves...his name is Ben. He says that he remembers me a little while back that I had come in and he wanted to say that he remembered me but didn't now since he wasn't working there tonight and had a couple of beers I suppose he felt a little more confident?? He exits the scene..
Kendra and I proceed to eat, only to have our waiter approach us, "excuse me ladies but Ben said he would buy you a round of whatever it is that you are drinking." we look at each other and start to laugh....ok sure and order some more drinks, great night? Sure if you account for the ladies hes sitting with at the bar and who keep turing around and looking at us, I said to Kendra I'm glad this place is dark b/c i'm as red as anything. Anyways now Kendra and I are both like ok what do we do, do we have to go up and talk to him?? We don't of course, thats not our job, we ackonledge him sitting at the bar and thank him. So about 20 min later he walks over to us again this time sitting down with us, starts talking baout how hes kinda embarrassed about coming over and asking how he knew us, Kendra tells him she thought he was using a line (very funny as get really gets embarassed over that)... he gave us the invite to come back on sat. for more free drinks b/c he was working the bar and sat. night usally gets pretty slow, I'm guessing we could keep him company or at the very most entertained!
A rather funny and interesting evening, I said Kendra this doesn't usually happen but sure enough the first time we go out somewhere something weird that that has to happen, oh yea did I mentiont that he was hot ??? hahaha good times...Kendra please feel free to add anything that I have left out....i thought this would make for an interesting blog

It had the potential of being the worst day of my life...

Well Foxy you wanted to know what I've been up to. Well Tuesday night I was over at the Lynds' until like midnight going through all of our pictures. Of course playing with the new puppy a little as well. Of course we told her mom that my dog was 14 and still perfectly healthy. Jinx!! Wednesday morning my brother called me and was like I have to go to work and you better come over and say good-bye to the dog she was sick all night long and now she's stumbling around like she's drunk. Over I come and girls she got up to see me walked to me and fell down and I bawled like I haven't bawled in years. You know how little kids cry until they lack oxygen. I was doing that. Eventually she followed me downstairs being a total trooper but could get back up so I had to carry her and when I put her down she fell and she couldn't get back up and I was an absolute mess. I called mom to come home to take her to the vet with me to have her put down because I just couldn't watch her suffer like that. Her eyes were going back and forth like crazy and mom as soon as she came home confirmed my thoughts, that she'd had a stroke. We got her into the car and drove to the vet clinic. The vet looks at her and tells us it's nothing serious, common in older bigger dogs and will be gone in 3-5 days. If not then it's a brain tumor. But he was pretty confident it's this thing. I couldn't believe it but sure enough I'm over here to take care of my baby again today and she seems so much better than yesterday. So that's basically been my past couple of days. Going to the movies with Peggy and Kerry this afternoon and then to Canada Rocks tonight with Lyndsay. I heart summer on PEI! Kendra I'll be around all weekend but Lynds will be at Chris and Moira's wedding.

Milestone...

Hi ladies,

I know this probably isn't exciting to anyone else, but I just tried on my favorite stuff from last summer that 2 months ago I couldn't even button, and now I can!!! A few things need a few more pounds to go before they look good again, but the fact that I can get into them makes me so happy! Just felt the need to share. CT, get me to a couple Ufit classes when I get home, and I'll be good to go. And I heard from the Medical Society lady, I have to call her when I get home and we're going to meet that first week :) Talk to you all soon. Lynds, congrats on the pup.

Storytime

Seeing as the poor blog is feeling so neglected I thought it was time for a story. It's 5:30 and I've just spent the day marvelling at how beautiful this Island really is. Of course I was at Daytime Myrons and the scenery wasn't the only beauty if you know what I'm saying... All right now that I've broken the ice the question is which story to give. Let me tell you some things I learned about the bathrooms in Europe. 1. Bathrooms are not free, in fact the first rest stop we arrived at we had no money and had to pee and actually had to take money out of the bank maching (Lynds did I couldn't get mine to work) buy something in the store to break the 50 and then Lynds had to spot me 50 cents in order for me to pee as well. 2. Toilet seats are a priveledge. That's right at first I thought someone had stolen the toilet seat from my toilet. Turns out no they hadn't that they just don't use toilet seats. Picture it like doing squats, so good for the thighs. 3. A simple handle to flush the toilet is too easy. That's right I saw buttons, I had one in Italy that just flushed every 30 seconds whether it needed to or not, almost threw off my balance as I squated and if I'd fallen I would have gone right in seeing as there was no toilet seat. In fact our first one in London it took Lynds and I a good 5 minutes to figure out you had to turn the handle first one way and then the other in order to flush. 4. There's no better way to scare the crap out of yourself than by having pink or purple toilet paper. I found it so everytime I'd be like ah what's that oh right it's the colour of the toilet paper. So that's just a taste of some of the culture shock we received while we were over there. I'm afraid I can't write anymore right now as I'm absolutely in need of food. 5 hours at the beach on an empty stomach not a good idea, don't recommend it.
Love you girls,

Back on the Island

Hello Ladies,
Yes Lynds and I are alive and had an absolutely marvelous time in Europe. We didn't really get a chance to email anyone because it was so hard to find a computer that worked anywhere. Thanks for emailing us anyway MC it's nice to know that you were thinking about us while we were gone. We left Paris yesterday morning at 12:55 am France time and we arrived at home at midnight our time last night i.e. 5 am France time. So needless to say were going to be messed for a couple of days. Still Paris was absolutely amazing, we got to watch the sun set from the top of the Eiffel tower and we got to see it sparkle because it lights up and flashes every hour after dark. We had fun in Rome too but it was unbelievably hot and we were pretty scared because the theft there is ridiculous. There are a lot of stories, far too many to get into right now but I will pull a Michelle and go a little picture happy.

5 day weekends aren't as good as you'd think

Hey ladies,

How is everyone doing? I've noticed the blog was totally ignored while we were all at home. I guess we didn't need to post when we saw each other everyday. Well, what sorts of exciting stories do I have for you today? None really. I'm on day 4 of my first 5 day weekend. Kind of bored actually. Got up at noon, then went out for a walk this afternoon to Kensington Market which is kind of like the Market in Ottawa, but much dirtier. It's not too appealing to buy fruits and vegetables from a place where it smells like raw sewage, so I didn't actually get anything. On the way back here I saw the guy who plays Tommy on Instant Star on CTV. Probably not exciting to most, but I actually like the show and he's really hot, so I was happy. Then on my way in the building, I finally ran into Mr. Billy Hennessy. Good times. We chatted for a bit, he told me about his amazing weekend and how he was at the office until 2am on Thursday. Invited me to this club they've got booked out for next Friday. Sounds like a lot of fun, but I couldn't bring myself to tell him I'll be at an Avril concert, and I've got no one to go with me to his party even if I wanted to. :( so sad. Went out in TO for the first time last night with the other white girls from my class. It was pretty fun, but as always, the pre-drinking was more fun than actually going out. The mission was to pick up guys for me and Lauryn, but things didn't quite work out. Shocking, I know. So, that's my story. Hope you all had great weekends, and CT and Lynds, how you check this out once in awhile while you're in Europe. Talk to you all later.

New Baby Soon

Hey there! Well I'm heading to the Ching's for the night tonight. Janice went into the hopsital this am, and is going back tomorrow 9am. So I'm going out there tonight to help with the kids. She said that they are going to be putting her on the drip so she could be in there for a couple of days before having the baby, but they are going to do this and see if it starts anything. I'm so excited. I think that she will have a girl but who knows....it would be nice if Caleb would have a little brother to play with too. My cousin Kate is working on the same floor this weekend so that will be fun too...wonder if Kendra will be around. Anyways stay tuned for an update! Talk to you all soon

Why do I always have the worst tan lines ever?

Well that's right ladies. I have developed, wait for it, a farmer's tan. What's worse, it's only on one arm. You see yesterday I was outside for sports day wearing a little t-shirt with capped sleeves. At the end of the day I was like oh no because my right arm was red up to just before the shoulder and my left was white as can be. Why!! I'm presently in my class room deciding that I'm not even going to stick around and try anything. We can come out here on Sunday and do some shit. We can take 2 cars as I'm sure you guys won't want to stay as long as I'll be here. Remember the longer I'm here on Sunday the less I will be on Monday and Tuesday. As for Daytime Myrons when I mentioned it at work today they all said um thunder showers and cloudy. Great. I think it thundered last night or dude next door was bouncing or something. I also for some reason could not sleep at all so at 1 am I got up and defrosted bread to make a peanut butter sandwich. Oh the joys of having the kitchen next to your bed. Fell out of bed this morning I was so tired but nothing like hitting the floor to wake you up. All right I'm going home because I'm just not into this right now. Hoping Pamela contacts me and Marla as I am so up for going out this evening. Best weekend ever!!!

the CD is complete

Hi ladies,

2 MORE SLEEPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm quite excited. Now I just have to get through one more exam and day of studying and I'll be on my way home. I'm leaving here bright and early on Saturday...my cab's coming at 5:30am. Yipee! So, I'vve put together volume one of the complilation on my own since no one decided to contribute. I think it's a good mix. Only 19 songs though. I could also make a mix of newer songs too if you want. I would also like to request that we head to daytime Myron's on Saturday as at my last check it was supposed to be about 27 and sunny. While we're there we can poll the crowd and determine whether it would be better to go to Peake's or Jake's. I know I told everyone I had to go to Peake's, but from the sounds of it, Jake's is the new hotspot for everyone our age and all the little kiddies are discovering Peake's. We'll figure it out on Saturday. Can't wait. It's the only thing that's getting me through this week from hell. Talk to you soon.

What a day!

Darc and I were walking down St. Catherine on our way to the porn stores to buy things for Chris and Moira's bachelor/bachelorette pary when we heard some shouting. There have been a lot of protests lately so I thought maybe it was yet another one. Then I noticed that there were a lot of cop cars around so I suggested we cross to the other sidewalk. But before we did...we were able to make out what the crowd was saying "Come outside, Come outside". Then we realized it was the Musique Plus (French MuchMusic) building. So we joined the crowd because I wanted to figure out who was there. I couldn't see and was about to leave thinking it was some French singer when I looked up at the screen to see....Brian. As in Brian from the Backstreet Boys! Yes the Backstreet Boys were here!!! (Michelle I wanted to call you but I didn't have your number on my cell.) Talk about a memory from way back for the compilation CD. Unfortunately they didn't come outside while we were there. We left for a bit to go to the sex store then came back and they had already left. We were out for most of the afternoon so I was on the lookout for them. St. Laurent had a huge street fair so Darc and I walked along. The coolest thing was that there were stands selling pineapples and mangos on a stick. (Beats the turkey on a stick from Disney world...Remeber that CT and MC?) mmmango! They also had yummy cotton candy. Now I'm off to bed. Only 6 more sleeps girls!! Michelle...you read my mind about the compilation CD. Are we mixing new and old?? I'm thinking of songs....
Lynds

Its on like Donkey Kong!

Well I will have everyone know that after quite a bit of fussing around on the ole schedule I can make it home on friday now! good thing! There is a very long and perhaps borning story for most as to how I got out of work on sat. night so I will not bore you with the details, rather just let you be joyous in the fact that you will see me very soon! hahaha It sure will be a very busy weekend. So who is going to be home on friday? I will be there friday-and leave on monday. Thats my time line. I think , let me know what you think? ....Pat and willys??? Do we have time? IF not thats ok too, just an idea. Well ladies I guess I will see you soon. love you lots

Commemerative Compilation

So, I had an idea this morning that we should put together a cd or two of classic "getting ready to go out" songs to listen to on the 25th. Now I need to ask all of you for suggestions. I've got an idea or two, but I think I need some input on this one...so I put it out there for you ladies to tell me what you want to hear :) Could make the evening just that much more entertaining.

Random Day I Would Say

It all starts on Wed night. I was working at Mr.Mikes and it was quite busy. For some reason I ended up helping Brandi close (only usually one person closes) and Chris (works in the kitchen) came over to me to see if I wanted to play poker...... hmmmm odd considering I only played with them once before but I was game. Plus he said that a few of his "cute" friends were coming to play so that caught me hook line and sinker.
Jared, Sean (whom I met before) and Jeff showed up along with a few other Mike's employees. I made it quite far in the game, however I play very passively and my chips just dissappeared slower than some. However I won a hand! Jared and I became pretty close throughout the evening and Sean drove me home (he was driving Jared home as well).
Totally off the subject...... I just realized that my raincoat stinks. EWWWW I don't know what to do about it??? Help!!!!
Ok back to the story. Sean dropped me off and Jared had told me that he had the day off on Thursday. I was staying in Poco so thought that we should hangout. I gave him my number, and really didn't think that he would call me. Thursday morning sure enough.... he called!!!!! We hung out the WHOLE day. I quite like this guy. Reminds me of Jonny (I know but better than nothing). He is 6 foot 5 and skinny but has some muscle def. just the way I like it. We watched a movie(Beetlejuice), played frisbee golf (don't recommend it yawnnnn...), took his dog for a walk in the woods, went out for sushi (like it if it doesn't involve ginger or a seaweed wrap, the tuna is great), then I went to his soccer game and met a few of his friends! Wow this has been a great day!
I also found out that I got the job at the restaurant downtown, so no more commute for me!
Ironic really. I move out of Coquitlam downtown........ and meet a guy from Coquitlam. He has a car and it will be worth the commute to see him! :) Have a great weekend girls!
Peace, Amanda

Have you gals checked out the countdown lately?

Wow we're down to like 8 days and something. Absolutely insanse if you ask me. As for teaching days I'm down to 8, which is not a bad thing. This afternoon was pretty crazy as sports day had to be cancelled due to rain. If it rains again tomorrow I may have to literally tear my hear out. Actually no I already booked the tv, hehe. My mom's bday was the other night and we went to Merchant Man and afterwards she came upstairs to get her present and she was like whoa we have to get some pics and the wall and stuff before the girls all get home. So true but who has the time. I finished my report cards last night, as in they're signed and sealed. Woo woo. I'm staying after school today since it's fairly miserable out to do some more work. Then maybe I won't have to come in both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Oh my God though it's just so insane. I'm still biffing stuff in the garbage and trying to box things and dust. I'm presently going through all the cassette tapes she left behind trying to decide what to keep and what to chuck. Marla and I figure we'll probably head out this weekend as 1. It is the weekend, 2. It is summer and 3. We just love it!! Only Saturday though so I'll have to find other ways of entertaining myself Friday night. Well better get this done so I can make it to UFIT.Love you all,

too hot?

I am quite amused at how humid it is in Ontario and Quebec? Shouldn't it be just as hot here? hmmmm.....
I am also still floored at the craziness at Dannys. SHUT THE DOOR!!!!!!
Went on a date lastnight, however...... he was just too hot! I know that is just terrible(haha) but it is true. He looks like Josh Hartnet(sp?)! Not quite sure if it went well. The convo. was great (but hell I can talk to a rock and have a great conversation). We do have alot in common, as per our love for 80's music. Marla you have to tell Heather that he played our "Josie's on a vacation" song and I almost lost it! If all else fails I got a 40$ meal/drinks paid for and he didn't shove me out the door as he dropped me off. He said he would call me? hahahahaha
I quit West 49. I have an interview at a restaurant called Martinis (across from MEC,which could be a bad thing) very Gahan House/Rum Runners-ish. I am hopeful for this, as they said that they keep their staff at a minimal so everyone works lots of hours. I will be able to quit Mr. Mikes and actually be in the city all the time. I am getting sick of the commute....... I know I know you guys can say, "I told you so."
Well I hope to hear from you all soon. May I also say how envious I am that you all get to see eachother soon. Please remember me as you enjoy your time together. Have a Keiths in my honour.
Love yas all, Amanda xo

"Falling in love is the closest thing to being at the Grand Prix for the first time"

Pam I really hope you can come home!!! CT and Marla...sounds like you had quite the night! I guess the message is to wear lots of layers when going to 69 Orlebar. :)
This was a crazy weekend in Montreal because of the Grand Prix. (That was the slogan on their website...you should see the pic that goes with it.) There are lots of streets blocked off and bars made fake patios, so everyone was drunk in the street. There were also some concerts...mainly cover bands. I've never seen so many Ferraris...they were everywhere! One place on Sherbrooke there were 4 red Ferraris parked in a line. Yesterday evening Darc and I went to a potluck with his class in Mt. Royal park. Apparently you can drink wine in the park as long as you're eating food too. Only in Quebec!!! (We forgot our wine but the park was full of people with coolers of beer and wine so I guess it's true.) After the potluck we went to Mike's (D's friend) apt because he has A/C and a pool. We played frisbee in the pool and enjoyed the A/C but sadly we eventually had to come home to our apt/sauna. It's so humid here already today. Humidex of 34 as of 10am. We also have a pool in our building but it's pretty tiny and has been closed for about 3 weeks for "major works". It was open yesterday so Darc and I went for a swim. All they did was put up a wall to make the pool area smaller. Although we were very excited to find that the room feels air conditioned so we're going to hang out by the pool today...too bad it's not open 24/7. 13 days girls!!

25th weekend

Hello ladies, well I know we are all getting fairly excited for the 25th aren't we? I am still hoping to be able to make it considering its been so danm long since we have all been together. However I cannot find anyone to work my friday night shift nor my saturday night movie . So if I can't find someone soon I'll have to stay :( not fun at all. Anyways I just thought I would give you a heads up on that. Talk to you later
Pam

Strip 3-man anyone?

All right, well as you can imagine Marla and I had another interesting evening last night. We actually went out on Wednesday night but I obviously didn't really drink seeing as it was a school night but we checked out both Gahan and Peake's. Both sucked and were very young. So last night Nellsy called and invited us to Danny's party for Stephen Liu. Marla came and got me and luckily there is liquor store right by my new apt. and we got there at about 10 to 10. Went over to Danny's and the big party turned out to be Danny, Jay, Chris, Neil and Steve. So we joined in and true to Chris style he got a game of 3-man going. PS Jay left because he's a pussy and hadto work in the morning. So I ended up being 3 man a lot and while I was 3 man Stephen Liu gave me 12 drinks. Then he made up a rule, whenever a 3 was rolled the girls took off an article of clothing. Well my ring came off before I was able to reverse the rule. Then the boys rolled one again and reversed our reversal. Well lets just say we ran out of jewellery. Marla I know we said what happened at 69 Orlebar stays at 69 Orlebar but this is too funny really. So I was wearing a tunic and a white tank top under with no bra. So finally I had my belt off, my jeans undone and rolled down once when I took off the tunic. Neil enjoyed this so much that he grabbed Danny's spray bottle for his plant and continued to spray me until my left boob was fairly see through. Marla however wasn't wearing two shirts, she was wearing a tube top with a bra. So off came her bra and oops down went her shirt. Apparently the guys got an eyeful and judging by the grin on Neil's face for the rest of the night he really got a show. So we had just put our clothes back on when Chris' new woman and her friends arrived. I fought Stephen Liu for his camera as there were some unattractive pictures but in the struggle we're pretty sure he broke his camera which was fun of course. Again I was wearing new but cute shoes as was Marla. We walked down to Peakes where it wasn't half bad. Shaydid was playing (oh the midgets eh Amanda? ) Jeff MacDonald decided he was spending the night with me nad we were going to cuddle but I did lose him later on i nthe evening. In fact I lost everyone when I stopped to talk to Rebecca. We all walked back to Danny's and I went along because it was Steve's last night and luckily he piggy backed me for awhile for my poor little footsies. Got back to Danny's and we were talking about retarded stuff and it was just funny really. For some reason Steve was trying to give foot massages that he learned in physio. Marla didn't like that too much andthe quote of the night would most definitely be when Stephen Liu said to Marla "Do you know where your toe is? " Poor fella was keeled over awhile. Then for some reason he tackled me off the couch. Craziness really. Through all of this Chris and the woman were in the front bedroom with the door open. What the hell!! But I wasn't getting up to shut it that's for sure. Left around 4 and headed home to bed. It's presently 12:15 on a Saturday and I'm in my classroom doing some housecleaning because I have a shittload to do and I don't want to be stuck doing it when Michelle's home. Hope everyone else had a great weekend.
Love you all,
CT

My weekend

Hi All,

How was your weekend? Lynds, sounds like you took advantage of the nice weather. As for me, I spent Friday night with the boys of El Torpedo. I think I mentioned before that I recently found out that Tim Baker, a really old family friend of mine is the drummer for Matt Mays. So, they were in town this weekend and I decided to get in touch. He invited me and my roomie, Audra, to come by and hang out at soundcheck. We made it just as they were finishing their last song. Tim came right over and gave me a great big hug. He's such a cutie. He seems to be exactly the same as the last time I saw him which was about 6 or 7 years ago. We chatted for a bit and he introduced us to the rest of the band and their manager. Matt and the other guitar player, Jarrett, had to go to Much for MOD, so we went for a couple drinks with Tim and Andy, the bass player. I've developed a crush on him. He was such a nice guy. They went back to the hotel to get ready and we made it back to the concert just before they played. They were on for an hour and a half and were awesome. CT, I forgot to tell you that I saw Ryan O'Connor there and was talking to him. Pretty funny. After the show we stuck around and had a couple drinks with Tim and talked to the other guys for a bit. around 3:30 they'd finally packed up all the gear and Audra and I decided to head home. It was so much fun. They're going to be playing Ch'town on Canada Day, so the plan is to try and hook up for a bit with Tim before the concert. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed. Some of my pics are at http://picturecenter.kodak.ca/view/kpcViewSmall.jsp;jsessionid=aTP0yFzwX1ke?machineid=002&containerID=1755055490 if you want to take a look. Last night I went to my friend Carolyn's boyfriend's house for a night out. a few of their friends came over and the boys played poker. It was nice to just get away from here for awhile. However, today I've been totally useless and haven't gotten anything done. I have a huge list of stuff to do tomorrow. Oh, and today was about 34 with the humidity. kind of gross. I heart smog! That's it for me. Hope you all had great weekends and I'll be at the reunion in 20 days!!!

Another beautiful day!!

I love summer!! Not that it is officially summer...I'm waiting for June 25th for that. :) Yesterday I walked up to Beaver Lake which is at the top of Mount Royal at spent the afternoon reading and listening to my pod. Then Darc and I ate dinner on our balcony and I met Julie and Jane for sangria in the evening. Today D and I are off to the International Beer Festival. We're supposed to have thunder showers sometime today but so far it's still sunny. Hopefully it stays this way so we can enjoy the drinks outside. Three weeks from today is our reunion!!!! It's going to be awesome. We should make brownies for old times sake.

MIA

I have been Missing In Action for sometime now. Not sure where I have been, maybe at work! I can't deal with this constant "work" thing. But that is what I must suck up and do if I want to travel!
I don't know who Matt Alas (s.p.) is but weird that he hangs out with Darcy, considering Darcy is not from PEI, but isn't his girlfriend?
I am super tired now and have to go to work again. I have 4 hours inbetween jobs and thought I would say hello and let you all know I am alive.
I don't get some of the quotes, but I laugh anyway. If I think of some I will sure contribute. I'm sure they will come to me in the middle of the night or something!
Peace Amanda xoxo

Remember when...

All right I've got some new ones. Who remembers watching Disney movies at Lyndsay's to look for hidden sex messages. I can remember a certain section of the Little Mermaid we must have paused at least 5 times to look at the priest's anatomy. Oh Miss Rowe. Mr. Hanky, also at Lyndsay's. Oh the days before we used to drink... Remember the time we bought like 5 different quarts to make shooters and made a total of like 3. I think I still have some of those bottles, they'll be moving to the apt. with me. Who remembers eating and eating at bbq's at my house. I believe there was a cheesecake some forks and some sheets in the washing maching if I recall correctly. Walks from the University to Subway. Studying for Micro in the middle of the night in Main with Mark and Marcel hiding under the table giggling. 3 man! good times, bernard. The ever classic, "I'm not running a whorre house!" Oh the list could go on and on... All I've got for now, going to the movies to see Madagascar.
Love you all,
CT

The countdown is on...

Yipee!

I'm impressed that we've all managed to organize ourselves to get home on the same day...now just keep your fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong. I think that in order to ensure that we actually make it to Peake's early enough to ensure that we don't have to stand in line for 4 hours, we should lay down some ground rules...
  1. All hair, make up and outfits must be complete before the commencement of drinking
  2. We must set an alarm to ensure that we remember what time we're supposed to leave and don't totally forget that we plan to go to the bar

That's really all I've got so far. I know I'm the worst for doing my hair and make up at the last minute. Who knows...if we all do it BEFORE we start drinking, maybe we'll look even better! I know that it's not possible for us to look better, but there's always a chance. Also, since we'll all be home we can get the party started REALLY early and then there will be no excuses for lot going out, such as we didn't get enough time to spend with each other. It's not that I don't want to spend tons of time with you ladies, it's just that this will be my only opportunity yo go to Peake's for the entire summer, and I don't want to miss out, not to mention that the band is Shameless!!! Alright, the countdown is on...t-minus 23 days and counting.

Summer at last!

I have been reading the blog and laughing at all the memories...good times, good times. I keep thinking of things to add then forgetting them when I am on the computer. I am so excited that it is now June 1st! That means that I have 21 days until my last clinical day. 22 days until my last day of school. AND....23 days until I come home!!!!!!!! Yes, that's right...I'm flying into Halifax June 24th then Dad is coming to get us. All for the sake of being home on the 25th to celebrate the beginning of summer with my girls!!! I miss you! I'm so excited for summer. Especially since today it actually looks and feels like summer.

What the...?

So, I was just reading the boy's blog and Matt Allas said he hangs out with Darcy McLeod? Weird. Never thought those two would have anything to do with each other. Anyway, that's all I really had to say. Had a housewarming party here last night...the german's friends were WEIRD!!! Pretty much the other two roomies hung out with me and my friend Carolyn and her b/f Rob. We had a good time making fun of everyone else, but that's the most exciting thing that happened. Hope your weekends were all better than mine.

Here we go again...

Alrighty,
I've remembered some more. I'll try to do these chronologically and we shall begin with prom night...
  • Me having a blind date
  • Me having to use the quarter on my invitation and chilling with Lyndsay's dad for an hour before everyone came back and no one realizing I was missing
  • People getting lost on the way to the party and being very anal about their car
  • Kicking sand into the water with Rory to watch it sparkle
  • "Jordan, I don't like you, I never did like you, and I never will like you"
  • Jono passed out on the floor in his own mess
  • Pam getting locked in the bathroom
  • Some "under the blanket" action in the sun room
  • CT getting her date drunk so he wouldn't touch her
  • Early morning trips to the beach
  • Jana and Jason on Mike's car
  • The missing sheet

The following are non-prom related...

  • "Whatever Joel"
  • Getting ready for Halloween at Everett's and covering his entire apartment in glitter
  • Trying to convince that drunk 16 year old at Brown's Court that CT and I were twins, then when he believed that, that Pam and Kendra were twins, then that the four of us were quadruplets
  • The "lobster" at KB and CT's apt in Brown's Court...I've never seen a sunburn like that in my life

I think that's it for now. I just had a sudden memory and they all came flooding back. I hope you all continue to add to the list. This stuff is just laugh out loud funny. Can't wait for more!!!

Sprouting wings and flying

That's right ladies, this chickie is flying the coop. I think most of you know this already, yesterday I saw an ad for an apartment down by the water. Called the number and today put down my damage deposit and paid my months rent. It's cute, not very big but has a balcony and enough for me. It will be nice to have my own space I think. And of course as Marla says, "We're never taking a cab again!" So I'm sure this place will make its own memories this summer!

Now back to stories...
The time Lyndsay drove right over the curb in front of That's Entertainment.

"Carolyn if you don't break up with him I will!"

Did you know that they close the parkade at midnight?

Lyndsay and Carolyn in the super quiet room, studying the anatomy of the male pig and none too quietly. Gee Lyndsay that Bluefield boy just gave you a really bitchy look, yeah Carolyn he did, he's a Bluefield bitch.

The sheep

I'm sober and I swear it looked like that pig just flew, it's a flying pig!

Nerds at Myrons

RIP Sundance

So when you get a nipple rink you get a great sensation where Everett?

That's all I got for now, my Neo Citron is starting to kick in.

~Kendra

Not only quotes!

There are so many funny times that I remember....but cannot remember the sayings that go along with them proboley because there was a touch of alochol involved! Remember these?

Not letting certain people take cab rides with us?

My contribution

This is quite entertaining. I haven't been able to think of too many so far, however I did find the email CT sent me when I departed for TO that includes a whole list of them :) So, some are mine and some are thanks to CT. Forgive me if there are a few repeats. I can't check what's already there while I write this. Here we go:

"Hen, CHICKEN, Rooster, Duck!" - CT trying to get herself under the water at the beach (haha)

"What the hell did we come here for?...Go upstairs with the boy" - also CT, follwed the next morning by "Get your bra and let's go!" from me.

"Did you know they have laptops at Acadia? Did you know they use PowerPoint at Acadia?" - Tony P.

"Look...Elephant Rock turned around and his back leg became the trunk" - I think that was me...oh Destination PEI

"I was in the stall and someone dropped a beer bottle on my head!" - also me at Peake's...I recall I was crying while CT was laughing her ass off at me

"Hey guys, where did Ellen go?" and 2 seconds later "Hey guys, where's Chris?"

"Good morning Sir" - Johnny

"I'm not a drug dealer!!!" - Jordan C.

The next few aren't really quotes more just general reminders of good times:
  • Daytime Myron's
  • Is that a tarp?....oh no wait, it's a raft the size of a school bus full of a bunch of dumbass 19 and 20 year olds
  • Text messages on the dance floor (I think that was just me) although I did get one from the Lynds once while I was at Peake's

Oh good times for sure. I miss you guys!!!!! So, who's going to be home for the 25th for sure? I know it's a month away, but I'm just going to assume we're having a BBQ at CT's and I have a suggestion for beverages. When I went to visit the Lynds in December we made this highly potent flavored rum punch. Absolutley delicious and shockingly strong. Personally I've got at least 2 midterms, a final and a presentation in the week leading up to that weekend, so I'm going to need to get good and drunk and head to Peake's! Can't wait. I'm very sorry for those of you who won't be able to join us. We'll have a drink in your honor. Ok, I'm off now as I have to get some school work done. Blah.

Almost forgot...I FINALLY got myself a phone. The number's (416) 340-1952. Also, my address is 111 St. George St., Suite 639, Toronto, On., M5S 2E8

Talk to you all soon.

They're kicking out ass!

Ladies ladies! The boys blog is kicking out blog's ass. They write about really dumb stuff but at least they write. So how are your RRSP's going? Just kidding. Here's what I propose. Michelle once said that this was a place to remember good times. Well I've had a few good times that may not be recorder here on this blog. So I propose that we start posting some good times. As well I'd like some quotes. One of my friends when they threw a party once they made posters with some of the dumb things she'd said on them. Well I'm not saying I've said some dumb things but maybe every once in awhile. So here's how I'm gonna start. A few quotes from some people, you may or may not recognize these.

"You'll have a better chance of picking up if you're by yourself."
" I should have been a doctor, I was really smart in high school science."
"Suck it." This one is allegedly said.
"Oh my God I'm a whorre I've had sex with everyone in this picture except Mr. Pendergast!"
"Here Carolyn, eat this and see if it's poisonous."
" Hey Donnie Brown I can't feel my face."
This is all I have time for right now but see who can come up with some others.LOve you all,CT

The boys are kicking our ass!

Ladies, ladies. The boys blog is kicking our blog's ass! I actually just wrote this post and then the damn thing deleted on me so here I am giving it another shot. So the boys do write about useless shit like retirement but at least they're writing. Michelle once said that this blog was a place to remember good times. In reading the archives the other day I did laugh at some of the original stuff but that only goes back to January. So I propose that we post on here some good times. The other thing I propose we post is some quotes. We'll call it quotefest. I'll get us started with a few of my favourites and you guys can take it from there...

"You'll have a better chance of picking up if you're by yourself."

"Carolyn stay right here while I go to the bathroom."

"Find your bra and meet me upstairs."

"Oh my God I'm a slut, I've slept with everyone in that picture except Mr. Pendergast."

"Suck it." This one is alleged.

"Here Carolyn, eat this and see if it's poisonous."

"Well that was a lovely ride. " "What the fuck car were you in!"

"I should have been a doctor, I was really good in high school science."

These are just a few to get us started. Keep adding to it though girls!!

News from TO

Hey ladies,

How are you? I've got lots to tell you for once. I'll start with the concert. last night I made it onto the guest list for Snow Patrol. Apparently Lynds and Amanda are the only ones of you who appreciate the band. Anyway, I couldn't get anyone to come with me and I was in such a shitty, horrible mood that I was just going to skip it, but a the last minute I decided to suck it up and go because I knew if I didn't I'd probably regret it. So, I got there and said "I'm on the list" the girl asked whose and I said Davey Sherwin, the lighting guy. She looked and looked and proceeded to tell me I wasn't on there. I nearly shit myself. She asked if I could call him or anything and I said no, but he emailed me this morning and said there wouldn't be a problem. Then she asked if he worked at the venue, I said "no, he's the lighting guy for the band" "OH! That makes a HUGE difference. Here you are!" Yeah for me. There were like 10 lists and she was looking at everyone except the bands...perhaps because I didn't have an accent and therefore probably didn't know the band (they're Irish), not sure. So I went in and hung around the lighting area. Unlike in Vancouver where we stood right next to Davey and talked to him, this time it was fenced off and people had staked out their spots around it and were fierce about staying there. It was pretty funny. So, I finally saw Davy and talked to him for a minute before the show thanking him again. The show was alright. The venue sucked. It was at the Kool Haus which is basically a modern, madeover warehouse and the acoustics aren't very good. The Vogue theatre was way better. Davy agreed. So, I talked to him abit again after the show. He asked what I was doing, but didn't suggest I go out with them, so I left. He said they'd just had a week off in NYC so they were pretty tired and likely wouldn't be doing much. Got home safe and sound and all is well.

Next, I emailed the Matt Mays site the other day looking for Tim Baker. My bro just informed me last week that the drummer for Matt Mays is a family friend of ours from Hali. His sister used to be my best friend when we lived in Dartmouth. Just sent a message saying we haven't talked in awhile, glad to hear he's doing so well and that I was going to try to make it to the show in TO in a couple weeks because it's at Lee's Palace which is literally two blocks away. This morning I got an email back from Mr. Baker saying how great it was to hear from me and he'd love to see me at the show and catch up. Just let him know, and he'll put me and a guest on the list. I'm in! I'm also turning into MJ which is scary (no offence MJ :). So, in a couple weeks I'll be meeting Matt Mays. It was funny because his email was so polite. Now he's a rockstar, but still the same, sweet little Timmy Baker. Ahhh.

My Dad's coming this weekend. Bringing lobster. Can't wait. He's also getting in touch with the father of the hot son to see what they're up to. Might see him again after the subway meeting last week afterall.

I'm getting settled in to being back in TO. My new location is so much better. I'm in Yorkville, which is where all the rich and famous hang out. Last week there were two different sets of trailers for a movie and a tv show set up behind my house. I'm just off of Bloor West which is where are the fancy stores like Louis Vuitton and Prada are, but let me tell you, nothing makes you feel more poor and uncool than walking past Dior and Cartier with your bags from Dollarama and Valu-Mart. I say this from experience.

Anyway, it seems like it's going to turn out to be an ok summer. I have an unbleievable amount of school work to do in the next 5 weeks before I come home, but it'll be worth it because all of my presentations and projects will be over with and I won't have much to worry about for the rest of the summer, except money, but that's another story. So, I shall end it here. I have to shower before the cable guy comes. Talk to you soon.

Love, MC

911 what is your emergency

Lastnight I was walking home from the busstop after work. I closed so I didn't get home until 2:30am!!! Totally worth the 100$ I made in tips! I was strolling along and I saw this lump on the sidewalk. I thought to myself....... "Self, why would someone put their garbage bag on the corner of a sidewalk?". As I approached the figure, I noticed it was a person!!!!!!!! He was sitting on the curb with this head to the ground, kind of an upright fetal position. I walked abit passed him then this wave of guilt came over me. Me and my "morals". I couldn't just leave him there. What if he was passed out and it started raining or even worse dead.......... I walked up closer and tried to see if he was breathing. Couldn't tell so I said, "Sir, hello!" No response. I wasn't going to nudge him, I was terrified enough already.......so........... I called 911. Got the ambulance described the situation (nice guy on the other end, he told me I didn't have to stick around since I was scared and that if I had any questions to call back). I walked the rest of the way home, feeling helpless. I called back about 30 min later and got a lady on the other end. I explained that I had called about an incident earlier and was wondering if she could tell me if the guy was ok. She was the BIGGEST bitch! She said in a snappy tone that they sent help and couldn't devulge that information. So now I will never know. I had the worst sleep lastnight thinking about it. How random for me to be walking that way, I usually walk up Commercial to 7th and up 7th Ave. Instead I got off at Lakewood. Considering it was 2:30 am it was my safest bet. I don't want anyone jumping out from bushes and scaring me to death!

Ahhh tv!

It has been so long since I've posted!! I just finished my first week of clinical in Orthopedic Surgery. The week went by really fast but was pretty tiring. We go to clinical Mon to Thurs so today was my day to relax! I spent a lot of the day watching Dawson's and Seinfeld. Then this evening Julie and I went to Jane's place to watch the last two episodes of the OC.
Michelle I loved your pictures. It looks like you had a great time!! I can't wait to go back to the "Couv". Jane and I really want to go sometime when Julie goes home. We've already decided that we'll turn Julie's house into a commune during the OIympics. I'm off to bed.
Talk to you soon!

Hey,
I arrived back in Toronto this morning. It was a very uneventful flight, except for the annoying girl in front of me who kept bouncing against the back of her seat in an effort to make it go back further, but really just ended up annoying the hell out of me. Amanda and Mo took me to the airport which was very sad. I really didn't want to leave. I've been gone 10 hours and I already want to go back. I'm arfaid to say, you may have all lost me to the West Coast. I really loved it there and am likely going to make a big effort to find a job there. As soon as I got into TO I remembered why I don't like it. It's flat, it's boring, it's dirty and sooooo busy. It took almost an hour to get downtown from the airport and it was morning rush hour, so it just seemed like we kept moving from one 4 lane highway to another and they were all jammed. I would never want to drive in this city in a million years. I've put up the rest of my pics. They're still at the site I gave before. I just wrote this whole huge long post, and now half of it disappeared. The gist of it was, I got an email from the lighting guy for the band Amanda and I saw, and he's going to put me on the guest list for the show in TO next week. I'm quite excited. So, I guess I'll try this again. I'm starving and I'm going to explore the new 'hood. Talk to you all soon.

Love,
MC

An example of my fantastic photography at Snow Patrol Posted by Hello

Patrol Groupies

Last night, we went to see the Snow Patrol concert downtown. The opening act, Embrace, was pretty good. Didn't really see much of them though. We were too busy drinking beer and eating potato wedges at the hostel down the street. We stood up at the back against a barrier kind of thing, and we were right next to the lighting guy. During the show, we made friends with the lighting guy, Davey Sherwin. I was taking pictures and he saw me and wanted to look at them. I was afraid he was going to yell at me, but he thought they were pretty cool. Snow Patrol was awesome. Amanda almost cried because he sounded Irish and he reminded her of Adam, resulting in her trying to make several overseas phone calls at the concert...even asking a couple Irish guys what the area code was for Ireland. Oh my. I took some videos and I tried to put them up on the site, but I have absolutely no idea how to do it, which is too bad, cause they're really good. At the end of the night, we chatted with Davey the lighting guy, got the set list and his e-mail so we can send him the pictures from the show, and he can show the band! We are so in. I'm thinking of asking him for tickets to the show in TO next week...what do you think? Tonight we're off to try and find Monique's sister's wedding dance. She told Amanda where it was yesterday, but she can't seem to remember, so we'll see what happens on that front. I guess that's about it from Van City. CT, so glad you're representing at Peake's for the rest of us. Hope to hear what the rest of you are up to soon. Talk to you soon.

I heart Signal Hill

Actually screamed that on the dance floor last night I believe. Well ladies it's been a fairly uneventful week for me as per usual. We painted mother's day cards yesterday using rubber stamps and it was actually pretty fun. Today I am spending the day with a throbbing headache at Charlottetown Rural for a day of skating thing. Tonight I'm going to see Seussical the Musical and I am really looking forward to it. The reviews have been really good. Last night Marla and I went over to Megan's for a shindig. It was to celebrate the end of me having friends on PEI. Not really it was to celebrate Megan having gotten into school in Hali. So as she saysI really have to go visit in Hali next year. Anyway we drank there and had a few laughs and headed to the Ole Peakster at 12. I can't really tell you anything about the night that was particularly eventful or fun but I had a blast. We danced up a storm in a group on the dance floor and there was room to move! Danced up a few songs with the ole Rammer and Jeffy and then the night was over far too soon! Jonny Woo's and home. All right that's the extent of my life.

The Blog is being neglected

Girls,
What's going on here? I check the blog while on my vacation hoping to get an update on what's going on with all of you and there's nothing! Disgraceful. As for me, things out here are going great. Spent the last two nights at Jody's (I have keys!) and went to Sloan last night. It was really good considering I didn't recognize most of what they played until the encore. Tonight Amanda and I are going to Snow Patrol. Should be a good show. I'm pretty excited. Tomorrow night I'm not sure what's up, then Amanda works Sunday and Monday, so I'm heading back to Jody's for another couple days, then back to the T dot on Wednesday night. That's about it for me. When I get back to TO I'll email with more details for sure. Hope you're all doing well. Talk to you soon.

Why does everyone assume I was at Peake's?

Perhaps I was there. Perhaps I may even have been there Friday and Sat night ;) All right here's the deal. Friday night I was talking to my friend Erin on MSN and she said her roomate had called her then put a really drunk Jeff MacDonald on the phone and they were going to PEake's. It this point it was 10:30, she and I both had to work Sat morning and we were both sober in need of showers. But none the less we decided to check it out. She picked me up and we went around 11:30. The band was Shaydid, and although it was pretty cold there was a decent crowd there. We talked to Ryan, Howie and Jeff for awhile. There had been this message for me to call Jen to go to Peakes and I was like who so I hadn't called. Over come Jen Campbell screaming like a maniac. I laughed my ass off and did go dance a couple of songs with her. Erin and I left around 12:30 but the band was awesome I could've stayed longer. Last night we had our coaches party at Old Dublin during Who Wants to be a Thousandaire with Boomer Gallant. It was hilarious. Jo-Anne, my former coach, and I decided to hit Peake's. It was packed! I saw lots of people but nothing overly spectacular to report. Still I stood on the deck with Jeff and Howie looking out at the water and we were all like it's really summer. Then I did the same thing with Ben Parsons. Then Nathan Carragher. Probably a few others. Good times....
Later gals,

small world indeed

I have 2 instances where this world as large as it may look in scale is as tiny as PEI itself......

1) I was talking to a guy that I met on Lavalife (I know I am back on it, but I got bored again) and we were on the subject of music. I told him I love up and coming bands. He asked me if I heard of Joel Plaskett...........DUH........ I am from the Eastcoast. We both figured out we were at the same show about one month ago and we met eachother there! What are the chances. Funny thing was when we parted ways he said, "Will I ever see you again?" That is when I said, "Have you ever heard of serendipity?"
We meet again it seems. He seems great, but who knows with the "luck" I had with the former lavalife meets!

2) Chatting to another guy from Lavalife and told him I was from PEI. He said he knew a guy from the Island. Of course I did the whole "What is his name I probally know him!" Sure enough, however you will never guess who it is. It is also quite ironic the fact Michelle is here with me as well, I thought she was going to die........... Josh Ballem, and he knows Jarrod as well. How odd!

So wherever you may travel, whereever in this world you may live remember it is not as big as you may think. There might be someone just around the corner that you have a connection with and don't even know it.

Michelle and I want updates on Peakes CT and Marla. I was talking to Rebecca but she left early. Give us the juicy stuff!!!!!!

Today is moving day, I hope I get it all done in one trip! I just want to have it done with and out of here so I can begin my life on my own!!!!!!!!! Yeah for me :)
Hope all is well, miss yas! Love, Amanda
